Why Doodling Matters

The Doodler Says...

I was invited to write an essay for a retreat-style conference in Northern Ontario last summer. The majority of the participants were K12 teachers and I really wanted to help them realize the role they can play in fostering doodling in the classroom, for note-taking as well as a tool for creativity. Instead of the standard word addled essay, I chose to submit a doodle.
