Sunni, what a great idea! I haven't checked out the products yet, but I'd love a copy of the first doodle of Resistance. I just wrote an entry about it now in my journal and I'm currently fighting it. And I've been paid and published for my writing, too! That makes me sad and frustrated, that I've somewhat succeeded with my writing and yet still have to severely fight the Resistance. Oh, well. Here I go...

I too doodled in class.....
..but I was prone to loose focus on the class and immerse myself in my sketching.

It is important to identify that there is a difference from making marks unconsciously/subconsciously vs. sketching, cartooning, or making marks with an intent for manifestation.
Claiming that the "doodle is a precursor to the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi" is inaccurate. This is a sketch which very likely took focus and concentration to manifest. Focus that would likely be taken from the subject in say a business meeting had this "sketch" in fact been generated in said meeting.
Point is, doodling to maintain or aid in focus is not the same thing as sketching. Either her research needs to be more refined, or her language be more articulate.
Interesting topic!

Hey Sunni,

I've been following your work for some time, and I just finished reading Gamestorming.

You made neat visualizations of those talks :) It would make more sense if I was there (or could listen to them). Then I'd have a great summary of what I had heard. But it's interesting how you create those summaries - and I want to appraise you for your artistic talent!

Cheers,
Matt
