Wind for the Win

Vestas is the only global energy company dedicated exclusively to wind energy — and their passion includes a drive to make the entire industry better and better. So in April, Vestas invited all their contractors here in the U.S. to gather for a workshop meant to introduce and inspire with their own approach to optimizing people and workspaces: Beyond Zero. More than zero injuries, more than zero quality defects, Beyond Zero captures the spirit and ideology of a culture that’s sustainable, renewable, and good-for-all — just like the wind Vestas helps harness. 

The collaborative nature of the event managed to transcend traditional borders dictated by competition or separation of roles. Vestas Executive Leadership, various national construction companies, and colleagues within the wind industry worked together in interactive sessions to set a standard that left everyone motivated to do better for and by all. And to honor that energy, Vestas asked us to visually capture the high-level takeaways in an image that would continue to, you know, blow people away. Naturally. 

And while attendees left with a visual artifact from the day, one that will continue to inspire — our own takeaway: never underestimate the power of like-minded people joining together, bonded by a singular vision, working to create something bigger than themselves.
